These tattoo styles aim to replicate the traditional defensive pieces used in combat
Although armor has existed since the most remote times of humanity – Egyptians, Hoplites and Sumerians used them, as well as Roman and Chinese soldiers – these tattoos are usually inspired by the armor of the Middle and Modern Ages, from the 14th to the 18th centuries.

“Hi Juno, that looks awesome…! Thank you for this excellent design! Ethan”

“You’re welcome, Ethan! Thanks to you for choosing me to create your tattoo!”
Which symbolizes an armor tattoo?
Although it is considered a protective tattoo, it is also highly sought after for its aesthetic appeal, due to the beauty of its mechanical parts and ornaments.

ARMOR SLEEVE and CHEST TATTOO DESIGN for MATT, with CELTIC and VIKING designs

The story behind this armor tattoo
Matthew asked me to create a custom Armor tattoo for his half chest and full sleeve. He wanted to include a “Vegvisir” an ancient viking compass, symbol of protection and guidance in life. So, I suggested placing it as main design for the chest.

In these armor tattoos, just like in real armor, we can include other designs and symbols that somehow represent the heritage, tastes and needs of each client: daggers, coat of arms, Celtic knots, dragons, lions, animals…
Finished armor tattoo design and stencil
And these are the tattoo design and stencils based on the tattoo drafts approved by Matt.

“Awesome! Thanks a lot Juno! Will most likely be using you again!”
