I love to create Taino tattoos. In this Boricua style we can add many ancient Taino symbols and, if the client wishes, other no-Taino elements but also according to the roots of Puerto Rico, Repulica Dominicana and areas of the ancient Taino people.
TAINO SUN
The Taino Sun is a petroglyph (“carved in stone”) part of the Zamas Indigenous Mural, located in the neighborhood of Jayuya, Puerto Rico.
Usually, in a Taino tattoo, I place the sun as the main element on the shoulder or, if it is an arm and half chest tattoo, I place it on the chest.
Other symbols and elements to include in a Taino tattoo are: Coqui (Taino frog), Taino Goddess, Trigonolito, Taino bird, Taino turtle, and we can make new symbols of Puerto Rico like a colored flag or in tribal style (this depends on the style of the tattoo) , and The Morro (Tower of the Castillo de San Felipe del Morro, San Juan de Puerto Rico).

How will I receive my tattoo design and stencil?
The tattoo design and the stencil will be sent to your email account ready to print, take, or send digitally to your local tattoo shop. Both are .jpeg files in high resolution ( each file size no more than of 2 MB, depending design details and measures )
How long does the process of creating a tattoo take?
Usually the design process take no more than one or two revisions, 5 or 6 days. This depends on the size, style and complexity of each tattoo design. It also depends on the fluidity of communication and the time each client has to respond.
