On this page you will find a quick guide about the Tahitian and Maori tattoo styles
Of course I always recommend first: choose a tattoo style that you like. And, going further: a style – of your liking – in which you can add the Polynesian symbols and designs that represent you, yours…your own story.
Tahitian tattoo style:
In this Polynesian style we can see clear lines, recognizable and rounded figures such as tiki faces (on side face), animals like turtles, sharks, stingray; symbols like marquesan crosses and geckos…all designed by thin and curved lines, without solid black areas…
