There are many different styles of Polynesian tattoos, this is why many clients ask me: which style should I choose? On this page you will find a quick guide about the Samoan tattoo style:
Of course I always recommend first: choose a tattoo style that you like. And, going further: a style – of your liking – in which you can add the Polynesian symbols and designs that represent you, yours…your own story.
In this style of Polynesian tattoos we can see straight lines, strips of Polynesian designs like shark teeth, ocean waves, spearheads, stones, triangles. These Polynesian tattoos are more geometric, often symmetrical. We cannot see there designs like turtles, suns, sharks, manta rays, or logos, dates, names… no recognizable or complex drawings. Only straight lines and small and repetitive geometric designs.
Of course, these tattoo styles can cover any area you want: shoulder, shoulder plus half chest, 3/4 of arm, full arm, leg, armband…
Maybe, you want a Polynesian tattoo in this style but adding, for example, a recognizable design that you love, for example, a Polynesian turtle (family symbol) on the shoulder, or a sun, or manta ray, or Filipino sun, or lion head in tribal style…

How will I receive my tattoo design and stencil?
The tattoo design and the stencil will be sent to your email account ready to print, take, or send digitally to your local tattoo shop. Both are .jpeg files in high resolution ( each file size no more than of 2 MB, depending design details and measures )
How long does the process of creating a tattoo take?
Usually the design process take no more than one or two revisions, 5 or 6 days. This depends on the size, style and complexity of each tattoo design. It also depends on the fluidity of communication and the time each client has to respond.
Who can order a custom tattoo design by Juno?
