Clients often want very unique tattoos; of course, anything goes to tell each person’s story. That’s why, based on the client’s idea, I created this tattoo of the McDonald’s mascot Grimace saying goodbye, with a departure date.
What is the story behind this tattoo?
The client had recovered from an illness and wanted to represent the “goodbye” to the disease, which he imagined as the Grimace mascot, finally departing from his body, adding the departure date. It was then that I suggested creating Grimace waving goodbye with a handkerchief, holding a suitcase, to which the client suggested adding the date like a travel stamp, the expiration date.
